7th September 2013

More waders are arriving daily on Hoylake shore. 1 Snipe and a couple of Chiffchaffs were on the move at the lighthouse. The wintering Greenshank was at it's usual haunt next to the 'three sisters' groyne.

3 Peregrine hunted the waders at high tide

One of 12 Curlew Sandpipers seen today between the Lifeboat station and Kings Gap, Hoylake. This confiding bird fed on the drier sand close to the promenade.
