Weather:
South East 3/4, clear and warm.
A quieter
day today; despite the favourable conditions there was little visible migration.
Migrants included Blackcap (2), Swallow (1) Chiffchaff (5) however Wheatears had
increased to 6 near the Westerly kissing gate.
2nd winter Mediterranean Gull |
A second
winter Mediterranean Gull dropped onto a sand bar at Dove Point as the tide
flooded. Easterlies are forecast to continue over the weekend so we are hopeful
of some interesting migration over the next couple of days. (AMC, KGRand JJ)
