Weather : sunshine and showers , wind SSW 10mph 

After yesterday's battering from storm Brian today was a warm and pleasant autumnal day apart from the odd shower, 
Mediterranean Gull, Eddie Williams 


Yesterdays counts of 8+ Leach's Petrel and 1 Velvet Scoter couldn't be replicated However there were 60c Great Crested Grebe and 300+ Common Scoter further out towards the turbines

At Dove point 3 Mediterranean Gull just off the groyne 2 adult one with a red leg ring , most probably a Polish ringed bird and a second calander year bird all in striking winter plumage , Also on the groyne were Knot, Redshank, Dunlin, Turnstone, and 16 Little Egret, 
Other waders in the area were Curlew 4 Snipe And a Black Tailed Godwit which have started to frequent Kerr's field still a long way off Caldy Water fowl collection numbers but a good record all the same, 

On Lingham Lane there were 30 Blackbird some were continental birds with black bills and 3 Redwings, 8 Song Thrush , 6 Goldcrests and 5 Chiffchaff.
 1 Lesser Redpoll and 8 siskin were welcome additions to the Lingham Lane List 

Other birds in the area were , 9 Skylarks, 3 Blackcap, 3 Grey wagtail, and 4 Stonechat.
