Weather. Early showers, sunny later, Wind westerly 13mph

After early showers the weather improved substantially, Spotted Flycatcher numbers were down to 5 after yesterdays bonanza ,

4 Whinchats male and female in the coastal paddocks and another pair in Kerr's field this afternoon, Wheatear in the area numbered at 10+ mainly in the coastal paddocks, 2 Yellow wagtails in the paddocks we've had good numbers so far this spring who knows maybe a channel or blue headed could pass through or one of the rarer species who knows, Also 15 Swift overhead,

With south easterly winds expected in the next few days speculation amongst local birders is growing to what the next star bird or mega will be May is a great time for rarities at the Lighthouse so eyes peeled folks,
